Trond Criticizes My book, uncanny valley and stuff. Personal , 081206 My friend Trond is taking a course in authoring and we met yesterday to discuss my book. He had a read the first few chapters of Hallucinations at Hiraschandu and gave me some advice on how to proceed. It was most helpful and I am very grateful. When friends takes such an interest it really spurs me on and now I am planning on spending my next vacation completing the first draft. I am writing this blog entry while watching Resident Evil - Degeneration. Talk about uncanny valley! Still, some of the movie sequences are pretty amazing. I am sure this is what games will look like in a not so distant future. The financial crisis, it sure does not look to good. I talked to some friends at work about shorting HM a few weeks ago. They did not agree with me then, but it seems as though they are beginning to change their mind. Accordingly to Roubini it is still dangerous to hold equities and one should expect a further 20% drop. - Aramis
