Trigger Points
Miracle massage
Spirit, 090802

I visited my mom today. I told her how I have been treating my mouse arm, leaning against a wall with a tennis ball stacked between my shoulder and the wall. When I begun telling her about this massage, she was curious about these points that I was talking about. So I showed her, by pressing a little on her back. As it turned out, I was a very fortunate that I did because as I pressed on her shoulder she winced away in pain. A definite sign of trigger points. I massaged two places on her back.

Then I showed her how she could treat her back using a tennis ball and after having tested it a little she suddenly discovered that she once again could stretch her arm behind her back. She told me she has not been able to do this for years. Immediate, almost miraculous recovery. She was very happy and so was I.

So now I know from personal experience that the following book is one damn good book to have at hand: The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook - Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief.
